The Detroit Science Center is poised to expand and get a face-lift in the next year and a half through a unique educational partnership that will see a science and math charter middle school located on its site.OPEN HOUSE
The University Prep Science and Math Middle School will hold an open house from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday Janaury 23 at the Detroit Science Center for interested parents and students. Enrollment applications are being accepted through Feb. 8 for the 162 slots in sixth and seventh grades. The school eventually will include eighth grade.
