Tonight I went to the Star Southfield AMC to see an advance screening of the new movie "Armored". I received the tickets courtesy of Screen Gems.The movie was wonderful. It has an all star cast with Matt Dillion, Laurence Fishburne, and Columbus Short. The movie is about a new armored car guard, fresh from a tour in the Iraq war, who is pressured by the veteran guards to help them steal 42 million dollars from a bank that is foreclosing on his home.
After they steal the money, the pressure of betrayal, greed, and regret rip the men apart and make this movie a real mind playing, action filled, suspense roller coaster. Laurence Fishburne and Matt Dillion are crazy, evil good in this movie. And Columbus Short steals this movie playing the war veteran rookie guard who surprises everyone with his good heart and war learned survival skills. I loved every crazy minute.
"Armored" opens in movie theaters this Friday, December 4th. You have to see it...
