Here is a highlight of the FREE activities you can do this weekend in the Detroit Area and beyond:
If you are near West Bloomfield, make an appointment for a FREE 50 minute session in the Neuroacoustic Sound Therapy Chair at Vita in the Henry Ford Hospital West Bloomfield. The sessions are FREE from 10am to 4pm on Friday, March 19th as part of the hospital's one year anniversary celebration. I took a tour of the hospital this week and it is fabulous. Vita, which is the hospital's wellness center, looks just like a luxury spa. One hour in the Sound Therapy Chair is equivalent to a 3 hour nap!

The Shrine Circus is back in town. After not having a home when the Michigan State Fair grounds closed, the circus is back and ready to entertain Detroiters at their new location at the Hazel Park Raceway. You can get half price tickets to the 3/19 Friday 4pm and 7pm shows..
