On Friday, the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy will celebrate its "opening day" with free carousel rides for the public throughout Friday and raffles throughout the weekend for VIP seating passes for the soon-to-be announced national act concerts at this year's Detroit River Days festival, which takes place June 18-21.
The International Women's Show at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi from Friday April 29th thru Sunday, May 2nd. While supplies last Panera Bread is offering $1 off coupons at the metro Detroit locations. Also on Sunday, May 2, Panera Bread will pass out complimentary mini Strawberry & Cream Scones to the first 200 people to enter the show.
Saturday is going to be very busy and very FREE in the D!

Saturday is also Comic Book Day! Go to a participating Comic Book store in the area and get a FREE comic book just for coming.
Teacher appreciation week is this week! Bring your child to Lowe's this Saturday between 10-11am, and they can make a cool FREE School House. Add a Lowe's gift card and it's the perfect gift for their teacher! RSVP is required.
Take your kids to the Home Depot between 9am and noon for their FREE Kids Workshop where kids will build a Picket Fence Planter.
Saturday is also FREE Acupuncture Day at the Community Health Acupuncture Center in Livonia. From 10am to 2pm, the CHAC will take appointments for this free service for new and existing patients. Book your appointment online.
And also on Saturday, the U of D Women's Softball Team will take on the University of Illinois Chicago at 1pm. The game is FREE to watch.
On Sunday, You can watch the FREE game of the U of D Women's Softball Team vs University of Illinois - Chicago Detroit, MI Noon.
And finally on Sunday, you can party for free at the Sommerset Collection in Troy where they will be celebrating the opening of some new stores with free food and drink and gift card giveaways!
