Open to all persons age 55 and older, this event is a free day of exercise, comedy, health screenings, medical information and a hot nutritious lunch. A panel of experts will discuss diabetes and heart health, and comedian Horace H.B. Sanders will perform. Keynote speakers are Vernice Davis Anthony, MPH, President and CEO of the Greater Detroit Health Council, and Jerry Johnson, MD, Professor of Medicine and Senior Fellow of the Institute of Aging, University of Pennsylvania Health System.
