Thursday, August 5th at 6 p.m.
Palace Patrol - What is it? The Palace Patrol is the interactive entertainment group that adds energy to every event. They are former cheerleaders, actors, masters of ceremonies, athletes, or just the life of the party. They love being in front of a crowd and are ready to make people laugh and smile. They perform at every Detroit Pistons home game. Their talents include T-shirt slinging, firing up the crowd, making balloon animals, tumbling, stunting and so much more.
If you've been to a Pistons game in the last 17 years, you've seen members of the Palace Patrol running around and entertaining the crowd. You've seen them slinging t-shirts into the stands, making balloon animals, catching small basketballs in their motorcycle helmet backboard or dressed as the Easter Bunny. They get you to scream for a Pizza, they set up giant bowling pins to launch Hooper at, and they lead the “Let’s go Pistons” cheers when the team needs a rally. Above all, they have made you smile.
On Thursday, August 5th at 6 p.m., the Palace Patrol are inviting people from all walks of life to tryout for the best interactive team in professional sports. Being good-natured and confident go a long way to making the team.
Tryouts start at 6:00 p.m. sharp on the Arena floor of The Palace of Auburn Hills. If you think you want to be part of the excitement at The Palace and want to try out, fill out the form at this link. If you have questions about tryouts, you can send a e-mail to palacepatrol@palacenet.com.
