After signing in, I just wondered around to see what caught my eye. One on the most interesting products was a new Nintendo Wii game called Babysitting Mama. Now I have a ten year old boy who would kill me for even looking at a Wii game with such a girly name, but this game was unlike anything I had seen before. The game comes with a soft baby doll. The Wii remote goes into the doll and then all the actions on the doll are transferred to the screen - burping, swaddling, feeding - you get the idea. I don't know if this game will replace the traditional baby doll, but it was interesting to see.
In June, my son and his peeps were part of a Zhu Zhu pets party where they played the Zhu Zhu Pets Nintendo DS game and learned the Zhu Zhu pets dance. Well, Zhu Zhu pets were in the house at Blogher - and I mean every type of Zhu Zhu pets available. I got my son a Zu Zu from the Zhu Zhu-Wild Bunch collection. And there was even a Kung Zhu Pets Giant Battle Arena Playset on hand for the wild furry pets to duke it out and see who comes out on top. It was like watching a cage fight between Zhu Zhu pets. What kid would not like that?
One of the last companies that I met with was Softlips.
