Detroit! Get Ready for the Friendship Circle FLASH MOB! 8/18 5:45pm at Somerset Mall

Friendship Circle of Michigan to Host Largest Flash-Mob Freeze Ever to Take Place in the United States

Back in July, I wrote a review of my time at the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield. The Friendship Circle is a wonderful place where special needs kids and their families can go for support. Every year, the biggest fundraiser for the Friendship Circle is the Walk4Friendship. So to raise awareness in the community that the Walk4Friendship is coming up in September, the Friendship Circle will be sponsoring a FLASH MOB at Somerset Mall.

Now I have only seen FLASH MOBS on the Oprah Show, so I am looking forward to taking my son to Somerset Mall and seeing this for myself. If you are as intrigued as I am, all the information for this event is below and also a video of a prior Friendship Circle Flash Mob at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

WHAT:           Friendship Circle of Michigan, renowned for creating and modeling what is now an international nonprofit with over 80 locations, assisting and supporting families of children with special needs, is hosting what promises to be the largest flash-mob freeze ever to be successfully completed in the United States.

WHY:             Revving up for the annual “Walk4Friendship” on September 5th, Friendship Circle’s largest fundraising event, the nonprofit will aim to organize 1,000 supporters at Somerset Mall, each clad in identical Friendship Circle t-shirts. At 6:00 p.m., participants will stop whatever they are doing and simultaneously freeze for 5 minutes, all the while attracting the attention and support of Somerset shoppers.
