COME TO THE FERNDALE DIY STREET FAIR

The DIY Street Fair is a free 2-day, 3-night event in Ferndale, Michigan where local artists, crafters, businesses, groups and organizations, musicians, restaurants, brewers and others who live and work with a do-it-yourself  ethic converge for one big celebration. The event showcases the immense creative energy, independent spirit and innovative talent that can be found throughout the area. Open to the public - all are welcome.

DIY Street Fair is located on E Troy Street, off of Woodward Avenue, 1 block South of E 9 Mile Road the in Ferndale, MI. It will occupy the municipal parking lots just west of the Ferndale Public Library and south of Troy Street behind Woodward Avenue Brewers and includes the following highlights:

The Main Stage: local, popular and up-and-coming bands perform free sets throughout the hours of the fair, day and night

The Beer Garden: sample a wide variety of delicious craft beers brewed right here in the Great Lakes State

The Restaurant Row: local chefs cook up delicious snacks, lunch &  dinner all day long

The Kids Zone: street performers, circus school, puppet shows, and hands-on, DIY project stations provide entertainment for the whole family

The Marketplace: local artists, crafters, entrepreneurs and organizations present and sell their work.

Friday, September 17, 2010, 6pm-2AM
- Beer Garden, Main Stage, Premier Marketplace til Midnight
Saturday, September 18, 2010, Noon-2AM
-Kids Zone noon-6, All other areas until midnight, live music, DJs continue until 2AM
Sunday, September 19, 2010, Noon-9pm
-Kids Zone noon-6, Marketplace until 9PM, Main Stage and Beer Tent until 11pm, live music, DJs continue until 1AM
