Meet Apollo Astronaut Al Worden in Ann Arbor
Apollo Astronaut Al Worden will be on the University of Michigan campus next week representing the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. He will give a talk about his time as the command module pilot for Apollo 15. Col.
Worden has logged more than 295 hours in space and holds the record for the farthest-from-earth spacewalk.
Col. Worden will also present LSA Math student David Montague a scholarship award from the foundation.
