Back in July, I had the pleasure of attending a blogger tasting event at Just Baked, a specialty cupcake shop and bakery, in Royal Oak. I also had the pleasure of meeting the founder of Just Baked, Pam Turkin. I can still taste those wonderful Fat Elvis and Apple Pie cupcakes that I had at the tasting. Pam even sponsored a giveaway on FREEISMYLIFE of a dozen gourmet cupcakes.
Today, as teachers head back to school, Just Baked has announced that Friday September 10th is Teacher Appreciation Day at all four Just Baked shops.
According to Pam “Just Baked wants to let teachers know how important and valued they are and recognize them as they begin another school year. As our small way of saying thank you, we want to offer teachers a sweet treat to show our appreciation for their constant dedication and contributions they make to educate, encourage and challenge our children every day.”
This is one great, sweet, FREE treat. It sure beats an apple for the teacher!
