Happy Valentine's Day

What is LOVE?

"Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude. It is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrong doing. It does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres." - 1 Corinthians 13

Below are Valentine's Day tributes from a few FREEISMYLIFE readers.

Enjoy!

Mary's hubby
Imagine walking in the door after a gruelling day, to flowers in a vase on top of the TV, a set table, and the smell of homemade lasagna in the oven. Or, my beverage has been chilling in the refriderator anticipating my arrival. It doesn't happen every day which is what makes it so very special, and it always seems to be the precise day I need it. That is my love. We met 22 years ago and my life has been forever changed. We have been on quite a journey, sometimes very rocky, to get where we are today. Through it all, we have been best friends: communicating with just a look, soothing life's tears, impulsive yet on the same page--we GET each other. As the years go by, my frustration at not being able to find a way to convey the intensity of my love grows. I only hope he knows he is my once and forever Valentine!

To my husband Joseph Terbrack:

"Just over 20 years ago, I married the love of my life. 21 years ago this month was when he asked me to marry him. It's a moment I'll never forget as long as I live. Joseph is my rock, the person I can turn to when everything feels like it might fall apart. He's my best friend and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with him. Happy Valentine's Day my love!"

Laura Terbrack, 40, Woodhaven, MI

To my husband Jim Paulitch:

"It's hard to believe we've been married for almost 42 years. We've had our ups and downs, but we've always been there for each other. I love you very much, you old fart! Happy Valentine's Day!"

Rosemary Paulitch, 62, Brownstown, MI

To my husband,

Through many years, many kids, many ups, many downs, much LOVE!
