The Detroit Jazz Festival in partnership with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will present a Jazz Forum moderated by Festival Director Terri Pontremoli, along with DSO Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Creative Director Jazz Chair Michel Camilo and renowned jazz trumpeter Terence Blanchard. This forum will focus on the role of improvisation in jazz with live performances by students of the DSO’s Civic Jazz Orchestra.
This event is FREE and open to the public, but reservations are required.
