Comerica Bank, Iron Mountain and WDIV-TV Local 4 will partner for the fourth consecutive year to host free community Shred Day events in Livonia and Warren on May 19 from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the U.S. with over nine million victims each year, andshredding personal documents is one of the best ways to ensure sensitive information doesn’t make it into the hands of an identity thief, or “dumpster diver.”
Commercial mobile shredders provided by Iron Mountain will be available at two Comerica locations during Shred Day:

· Livonia Operations Center, 39200 6 Mile (6 Mile & Haggerty), Livonia, Mich. 48152
Consumers can watch their paper documents be shredded on the spot. All shredded materials will be recycled. Only paper documents will be allowed.
