Bruegger’s Bakery-Café Offers Three Free Bagels to Every Guest on June 7
Neighborhood bakery partners with Beaumont Children’s Hospital; Hosts 4-Hour Fundraiser
To continue the celebration of its newest bakery in Bloomfield Hills, Bruegger’s will offer its new neighbors Three Free Bagels on Tuesday, June 7. The event will also raise money for Bruegger’s community partner, Beaumont Children’s Hospital, as part of an ongoing partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Guests can pick up their Three Free Bagels during the hours of 6 a.m. – 10 a.m., and, in turn, donate to Beaumont Children’s Hospital and the programs that support the medical and developmental needs of more than 100,000 infants, children and teens each year. As an additional incentive, the Bloomfield Hills bakery will match customer donations.
This is the company’s second event to raise funds for Beaumont Children’s and to promote its newest bakery in Bloomfield Hills, located at 39568 North Woodward Avenue, southeast of Bloomfield Hills Country Club. The bakery, which officially opened on April 4,features indoor seating for 36 guests and offers Bruegger’s fresh-baked bagels and extensive breakfast and lunch menu. It is the company’s eighth bakery in the state of Michigan.
“We have a strong commitment to our communities and we’re thrilled to support Beaumont Children’s Hospital as we celebrate the opening of our newest bakery,” said Jim Greco, CEO of Bruegger’s. “With the help of our new neighbors, we hope to raise a total of $1,000 for the Hospital and its important mission through this event.”
“By raising money for Beaumont Children’s Hospital, Bruegger’s is giving its customers an opportunity to help kids and families in their community while enjoying a few of their favorite bagels,” said Charles Main, MD., director of pediatric oncology. “Each donation will directly support our Pediatric Cancer Survivors Scholarship Fund providing educational assistance for survivors of childhood cancer in our community.”
Bruegger’s has raised nearly $100,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and its affiliates around the country since forging a partnership with the organization in mid-2010.
