The 2011 Selfridge Air Show and Open House will take place on August 20th and 21st in Mt. Clemens, MI. Gates will be open to the public at 8 a.m. daily. Static display aircraft and countless military, aviation, and technology displays will be available to all guests daily after 8:00 a.m. A radio-controlled aircraft demonstration will take place from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00.
Flying performances will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the F-18 Hornet performance is over, about 3:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Arrive Early. Traffic will get more and more congested as the day progresses. It is suggest that you plan to arrive early in the morning and make a day of it. Individuals that choose to start the drive to the base too late will have to deal with a lot more traffic than those that plan to arrive early.
