AmeriCorps Positions (Michigan) MPCA AmeriCorps Community Navigators serve to provide outreach opportunities for families in Michigan with uninsured children. Navigators enroll eligible but uninsured children in low-cost or free health insurance and offer follow-up and renewal assistance to the families they serve. They also build enrollment partnerships with local organizations like schools and non-profits, provide training for staff and volunteers in local communities and participate in sharing best practices from the field.
