Hundreds of women expected to shop, dine and explore Milford’s Main Street
Each spring a one-night-only event draws hundreds of eager shoppers to the quaint downtown streets of the Village of Milford. For the 7th year, Ladies Night Out returns from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 26 to the Main Street area.
The eagerly awaited event includes giveaways, discounts, storewide sales, freebies, complimentary snacks and beverages at all participating retailers. Ladies can collect stamps for the official Ladies Night Out postcard at any of about 35 participating businesses.
Collect 10 stamps and attendees may enter to win one of 40 gift certificates, worth at least $20 each, by dropping the completed booklet off at any participating location. The newest addition to this year’s event will be Down Home Apparel. Located at 400 N. Main, suite 202 it is downtown Milford’s recently-opened dress and clothing shop.
“Ladies Night Out is a sign of spring in downtown Milford,” said Wendi Skolnik, Milford Business Association president and owner of Nana’s Niche & Corner, one of the participating Milford businesses. “Everyone is ready to explore all of the brand new merchandise. It’s a wonderful reason to gather with your girlfriends, sisters and mothers. Who doesn’t need a Ladies Night Out once in a while?
The annual downtown Milford event offers the perfect chance to seek out previews of the latest merchandise at clothing, furniture, gift and accessory retailers. Visitors will also find specials at several Milford’s restaurants. With so many shops and restaurants to explore in downtown Milford, Ladies Night Out expands year after year.
