Comerica Bank Helps Metro Detroiters Protect Against Identity Theft During Shred Day
Comerica Bank and Iron Mountain Incorporated will partner for the fifth consecutive year to host FREE community Shred Day events in Southfield, Livonia and Warren on May 19 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
More than 11 million adults became victims of identity theft last year and shredding personal documents is one of the best ways to ensure sensitive information doesn’t make it into the hands of an identity thief, or “dumpster diver.”
Commercial mobile shredders provided by Iron Mountain will be available at three Comerica locations during Shred Day:
· Southfield Tower, 29201 Telegraph Road, Southfield, Mich. 48034
· Van Dyke & 13 Mile banking center, 30500 Van Dyke, Warren, Mich. 48093
· Livonia Operations Center, 39200 6 Mile (6 Mile & Haggerty), Livonia, Mich. 48152
Consumers can watch their paper documents be shredded on the spot. All shredded materials will be recycled. Only paper documents will be allowed. For more information, including a complete list of prohibited items, please visit www.comerica.com/ShredDay or call Comerica at 888-266-3742.
Enjoy!
