In celebration of June being Black Music Month, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History presents the Juneteenth Summer Soul Concert featuring Grammy-nominated artist Anthony David, Serieux, and Detroit’s own Suai - bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a soulful summer concert experience for the entire family!
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, commemorates the announcement of the end of slavery.
This event is hosted by La Shaun phoenix Moore and made possible by support from Ford Motor Company.
