July 30th is National Cheesecake Day and to mark the occasion, Peteet’s Famous Cheesecakes in Oak Park is offering some sweet treats for cheesecake lovers.
Starting at 11am on July 30th, the first 100 customers to Peteet’s will receive a free slice of their award-winning cheesecake and 25% off any purchase throughout the day.
In addition, Peteet’s is introducing their brand new cheesecake ice cream, which is produced by Ray’s Ice Cream in Royal Oak, and will offer customers free samples all day as well. The cheesecake ice cream is blended with actual chunks of Peteet’s Famous Cheesecake and is available in six flavors: Strawberry Delight, Banana, Peach Cobbler, Vanilla, Key Lime and Turtle. It is sold exclusively at Peteet’s for $5.49 per pint.
Customers can also enter a drawing for a chance to win free Peteet’s Famous Cheesecake for a year (one whole cheesecake per month for one year). Winner to be chosen at the end of the day and notified the following day.
