It's hot here is Detroit with temperatures near 100 degrees. So what better time to write a post about sweating and ways to keep dry. So here are some simple tips to keep dry in the heat...
Drink plenty of Water
This should go without saying. Your body needs to rehydrate when you are sweating so keep lots of water on hand, both to drink and to splash on your face.
Don't go out at the hottest part of the day
I love to walk for exercise, but the hottest part of the day is probably not the best time for exercising outside. Early morning and late evening are best when temperatures are lower.
Dress for the Heat
Clingy all black clothing is not the best thing to wear in the heat. Loose, airy clothing is better because it allows air to circulate and keep you cooler.
Stop sweat with Deodorant and Antiperspirant
Deodorants mask unpleasant smells and Antiperspirants suppress sweating. And you can help stop sweat and mask odors by using a combination deodorant-antiperspirant like Dry Idea AdvancedDry.
