While I was growing up, my Mom became very sensitive to scents. Since she was allergic to almost any product with scent, my sisters and I were not allowed to wear perfume and everything we used, including laundry products was unscented. Even though that was years ago, I still tend to buy unscented laundry products from time-to-time out of sheer habit.
At last summer’s BlogHer11 conference in San Diego, I participated in the P&G “Life Well Lived Day” event where I learned a lot about unscented and dye and perfume free laundry products. And P&G recently contacted me to try out their Tide Free & Gentle liquid laundry detergent.
Tide Free & Gentle is billed as not only being unscented and dye-free, but also having the same stain-fighting abilities that is in original Tide. So while getting out tough stains, Tide Free & Gentle is also kind to your nose and kind on your skin.
I think my Mom will like Tide FREE & Gentle. If fact, I plan to buy some for her with a FREE product coupon sent to me by the kind folks at P&G. Having tried it out for myself, I am pretty sure my mom's sensitive nose will be quite happy :)
