When my son was a toddler, there was a Kmart located directly across the street from where I worked. Back then, I was exhausted from learning how to juggle being a mom with the rest of my responsibilities and I was looking for any way that I could to save time on running errands and getting food for dinner.
I had never done much shopping at Kmart at the time, but once I realized that I could buy my son clothes and my food all in one shopping trip I was hooked. And of course before leaving the store, I would shop the end caps for all the bargains. I almost cried when that Kmart closed since I was so hooked on the total shopping experience.
So I was very glad when I recently discovered there is a Kmart close to one of my son's after school activities. Once I went inside, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the atmosphere is in the store and how easy it was to find my way around. I also like that Kmart has new partnerships with designers so the merchandise looks very upscale.
And now I have one more thing to like - the Kmart Family and Friend Event Sale that will happen on Sunday, November 4, 2012. This all day event offers 10% off most things in the store including men's, women's and kids apparel, sporting goods, toys, lawn and garden items, and even groceries.
So start out your holiday shopping on the right foot this Sunday at Kmart.
