On Monday, I wrote a review of the new album "The Bomb Shelter Sessions" by LA group Vintage Trouble. Vintage Trouble is made up of lead vocalist Ty Taylor, guitarist Nalle Colt, bassist Rick Barrio Dill and drummer Richard Danielson. They are originally from Los Angeles but relocated to the U.K. where they spent 2012 touring after releasing their first album - The Bomb Shelter Sessions.
The Bomb Shelter Sessions contains 10 songs plus 3 bonus tracks (if you buy the encore version) that have a vintage quality to the sound. Last night, the group closed out The Tonight Show with a high energy performance that had the audience rocking.
The Vintage Trouble Facebook Page was all a buzz waiting for the group to perform on Jay Leno and The Tonight Show. They even posted a behind the scenes photo (see above) right before the show broadcast.
One of my favorite songs on The Bomb Shelter Sessions album is "Total Strangers" and the quartet rocked it out last night. Lead vocalist Ty Taylor showed that he can sing great live while "James Brown" side stepping, high jumping and even doing a split or two. In a age where groups have difficulty performing live, Vintage Trouble's performance was top notch.
Check out the Vintage Trouble Facebook Page and Vintage Trouble on Twitter to learn more about the band and see more photos from their Tonight Show appearance.
Enjoy!
