Founded in 1975 by the Macomb Inter-Agency Council, the Macomb County Food Program is a pantry distribution center located in Clinton Township, Mich. that serves 55 pantries throughout the county. The pantries distribute emergency food to those in need in Macomb County. Last year, approximately 56,000 Macomb County households consisting of more than 180,000 individuals requested emergency food assistance, a 20 percent increase over the previous fiscal year.
“Art Van Furniture, Rush Trucking & participating donors will be making an immediate impact in the lives of those in need throughout Macomb County," says Kevin Cassidy General Manager of Freedom Hill Amphitheatre. “Freedom Hill continues to strive to improve the Quality of Life in Macomb County and beyond. We plan on making this Food Drive an annual happening tied to one of our great shows such as this year's Temptations and Four Tops concert.”
