Come celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the many ordinary people who had the extraordinary courage and commitment to ask for more from their nation on civil rights.
Bring your family and friends, because all of the activities in Henry Ford Museum on MLK Day are absolutely free, thanks to the generosity of Target. That includes FREE admission and FREE parking, plus live music, hands-on fun, make-and-take activities and dramatic presentations.

Participate in and be captivated by the highly praised 30-minute show “Minds on Freedom,” which celebrates the contributions of Dr. King, Mrs. Parks and other civil rights champions such as Fannie Lou Hamer, Gloria Rackley and the Freedom Riders. Sing, carry a protest sign and interact with the performers. You, too, can make history.
